== Synopsis/Review ==

Pawan or Pe (Aum) was the only son of the real estate businessman. After his mother died, His father fell in love and had the affair with a married woman. Later, his father was shot to death by his lover's husband. So, Pawan had prejudice against the married woman.

However, he had a crush on Thuma or Bo (Aff), an interior designer in his company. When he knew that she was a married woman, he tried to stay away from her, but he couldn't resist her charming.

Thuma got married with Tao, her brother's friend because her family had some financial problem and Tao volunteered to help her. But After she moved to America with him, she just realized that her husband was gay (queen) and she had to live in the same house with her husband and his boyfriend. Later, she couldn't bear that situation anymore, she came back to Thailand and got a job in Pawan's company.

Pawan couldn't resist his desire for her, he started to ask Thuma out. Thuma was lonely and wanted to have someone, so she dated him. They kept dating, fell in love with each other and had the affair. In his mind, he still worried that the history would repeat itself. He would get the same fate as his father, but he was in love with Thuma so much that he didn't care about anything.

Pawan met Sathorn, a man who helped him from attacking by a drunk man. Sathorn was in debt and saw that Pawan was very rich, so he tried to introduced Nian (Ploy), his daughter to Pawan. He asked Pawan to accepted Nian to work in his company. He told his daughter to try to seduce Pawan. Pawan accepted Nian to work in his company, but he was not interested in Nian more than just a young pretty girl because he loved Thuma so much. When Nian saw that Pawan was in love and dating Thuma, she was very jealous and wanted to win him.

Pawan told Thuma that he wanted to marry her, so Thuma told him to wait and she would divorce her husband to be with him.

Tao came back to Thailand with Aer, his new boyfriend after he had some trouble in America. His mother was very angry at him and refused to give him money anymore. One day, Aer saw that Thuma dating Pawan. They feared that Thuma would divorce Tao and Tao's mother would know that truth and be angrier at her son, so Aer told Tao to threaten Pawan to stay away from Thuma. Thuma asked to divorce with Tao but he refused it.

Nian created evil scheme. She tried to act as an innocent angel and flatter everyone who was close to Pawan, such as Panee, Pawan's aunt and his step-mother, and Pawan's secretary. She tried to get close to Pawan until everyone in company thought that she was dating Pawan and would be his wife in the future. Pawan couldn't refuse her when she asked him to give her a ride everyday or went out with him because he thought that she was his friend's daughter.

When Pawan's secretary took leave to give birth, Nian was assigned to work as a substitute. Nian kept obstructing Thuma and Pawan from seeing and talking each other.

After Thuma knew that she was pregnant with Pawan, she was very happy and wanted to tell him, but Nian still kept her from meeting him. Thuma was very hurt and thought that Pawan was bored of her and didn't want to see her anymore. She also heard everybody in company talking about the relationship between Pawan and Nian. She tried to send message to make appointment with him, but he didn't get it because of Nian and didn't go to see her. Thuma saw that Pawan went out with Nian instead of going to see her, so she decided to quit her job and go to Hawaii to stay with Tik, her youngest brother. Anyway, Pawan had no chance to see Thuma's resignation letter because Nian threw it away.

Jaengla, Pawan's lawyer friend, worked with Tao'mother accidentally knew that Thuma was going to leave for Hawaii, so he told Pawan. Pawan hurried to go and met Thuma at the airport before she left. Thuma was very hurt and told him she was going to leave with no return. Pawan didn't understand anything and thought that she didn't want him anymore, so he let her go.

After Thuma left, Pawan was very sorry. He kept drinking, getting drunk and sleeping around. One day, when Pawan was drunk and Nian took care of him, he thought of Thuma so much and kept raving about her. He thought that Nian was Thuma, so he hugged and kissed her and fell asleep after that. Nian was very angry when she heard Thuma's name and nothing happened as what she wanted. However, in the next morning, Pawan woke up naked and saw that Nian was crying. He though that he raped her. Nian tried to say that it was alright. She didn't care about it.

But later, Nian's father told Pawan that Nian was pregnant with him and forced him to marry his daughter. After marriage, Pawan realized that Nian was a materialist girl. He was bored of her and quarrelled with her so often. He started going out and sleeping around with a woman in a bar.

In Hawaii, Thuma heard the news that Pawan got amrried with Nian. She was very hurt. She told Tik, her brother about everything and told him that she wanted to get abortion, but after she got the accident and felt that the baby in her belly was moving, she changed her mind to keep the baby. She wanted to give birth her baby in Thailand, so she and Tik decided to go back Thailand.

Tik was the first guy that Tao used to sleep with, but at that time, Tik told Tao that he couldn't live his life like that with Tao, so they had to separate. Coming back to Thailand this time, they got back their relationship. Tik tried to open Tao's eyes seeing that Aer was not a good man. Aer was using and pimping him. Tik also told Tao about Thuma's baby with Pawan, a guy she loved, so Tao decided to let Thuma free and divorce her.

Nian tried to call for attention from Pawan, so she tried to commit suicide. Jaengla, Pawan's friend, could catch that Nian didn't get pregnant and unable to get pregnant anymore for the rest of her life. He also saw Thuma in the hospital giving birth a son. He knew that her baby was Pawan's baby, so he told Pawan.

Nian asked for a lot of dowry for divorce from Pawan, and Pawan didn't refuse it. After divorce, Pawan tried to get back with Thuma and asked for her forgiveness.

Thuma didn't want to forgive him easily at first, but for the sake of thier son, she forgave him at last. They lived together happily after that and she got pregnant again.

Nok Sinjai takes on the role of Phanrawee, a woman trying to maintain her station in life. She is married to the wealthy Rangsee Soriyathit played by Pisan Akarasene (Aom’s biological father in real life and in this lakorn).

Rangsee and Phanrawee have no biological children together, they do have one adopted son Passakorn (Nat Tephassadin). Rangsee does have one biological child with another woman, Rangrong played by Aom Piyada. Rangsee did not know of her existence until she was grown. Rangrong is a feisty young woman out for revenge on Phanrawee the woman who harmed her mother and to claim what’s hers, which is Rangsee’s inheritance.

== Synopsis/Review ==

In “Sapai Glai Peun Tiang (Underdeveloped Daughter-in-law)”, Anne is a hot-heated cop in the Crime Suppression Division in Bangkok, her name is Lalin. Her family lives in Roi Et province. When she returns home to participate in a festival, she learns her seamstress sister Areeya (Jane Jensuda) was impregnated by guy from Bangkok. The family and especially Lalin wants this wannabe deadbeat daddy to take responsibility for his actions. The only problem, they don’t know who he is. Areeya refuses to disclose his identity.

The thing is this, Areeya (Jane Jensuda) has already asked the father of her child to take responsibility and even begged his mother for assistance. What she received was embarrassment, the future paternal grandmother to her child insulted her and refused to let her son take responsibility for Areeya’s baby. From that point on, Areeya decides to give up on the matter.

Getting no information from her sister, Lalin secretly ransacked through her sister’s belongings and finds evidence that a guy named Jormtup (Chakrit Yamnam) might be the father. Lalin angrily drives to Bangkok to confront Jormtup, a hotel heir. She rudely interrupts his conference and demanded he take responsibility for impregnating her sister. Jormtup is a little baffled, he didn’t impregnate anyone. They argue for a bit until Jormtup ordered hotel security guards to drag her away.

Later that night, he tells his no-good, playboy older brother Jormphon (Num Gunchai) that some weird abrasive woman charged into his hotel conference and accused him of being the father of her sister’s baby. Jormtup finds this amusing while Jormphon is a little worried, he confides to his younger brother that he is the culprit, the baby daddy. Being a good guy, he tells his older brother he will keep this secret if Jormphon reforms and starts helping him out at the hotel.

For several days and weeks, Lalin causes hell for Jormtup (Charit Yamnam) at work and personally in order to convince him to come back with her to Roi Et. He doesn’t do anything.

One day, Lalin meets up with Khun Ying Lerlak ( Jintara Sugapat), JJormtup and Jormphon’s mother, a very conceited Hi-So woman. Lalin begs for her assistance, Khun Ying Lerlak rudely refuses and insulted her. The thought of having one her son’s marry a country bumpkin was beyond her. Jormtup overhears their conversations and knows he must resolve this issue where both parties are satisfied.

He runs after Lalin after she talked to his mother and offered her money. Yes, he will take responsibility for Areeya, but only financially. This is the best he can do, he tells her. Infuriated, Lalin doesn’t accept his offer. She later decides to resolve the issue, caveman style, she drugs and beats Jormtup up and takes him back to Roi Et. HAHA. GOOD TIMES!

She introduces Jormtup to her sister and Opps! Wrong guy. Feeling bad for mistakingly causing hell to the wrong guy, Lalin sincerely apologizes to Jormtup. He was fine with it. He wasn’t angry at all, her boldness and craziness intrigued him. The more he met her the more he liked her. How can a woman be so cute and yet so vexing at the same time, he thought to himself.

Soon after, Khun Ying Lerlak gets Lalin suspended from work as a cop and she goes back to Roi Et to stay with her family. Jormtup felt regretful that his mother wrongfully got Lalin suspended from work, he visits her often at Roi Et and they became friends. Well, he is courting her and she is indifferent to the whole situation.

Still wanting revenge for the people who dishonored her sister’s reputation, she decides to drug Jormtup and set up a scene to make it seem like they had “relations”. Lalin tells Jormtup he must take responsibility for her, he gleefully accepts. He was like “Okay” in a giddy manner, he likes her, so it wasn’t a big problem.

They marry, though Khun Ying Lerlak (Jintara Sugapat) absolutely disapproves, Lalin moves into Jormtup’s family home and the war between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law begins.

Once a shy, unconfident girl who never dreamt of becoming famous, Khemapsorn Sirisukha (Cherry) has stepped graciously into the limelight. She is known for her nang-ek roles in many hit TV series like Dao Long Fah and Kaew Ta Pii. Back in 2000, the TV star first appeared on the big screen with Satang, and won a best supporting actress award. After a nine-year hiatus, Cherry is back with a big-budget, star-studded fantasy action flick, Opapatika, scheduled to hit theaters in October.

Acting wasn’t my childhood dream. When I was young, I was quiet, shy and introverted. I didn’t like being the center of attention. I loved painting and drawing, and I wanted to be an architect. But by coincidence, I got into the entertainment business, and before I knew it, I starred in my first TV drama when I was only 17.

What you see is not necessarily what you get. People always assume actors and actresses are the characters they play. But work is work, and that’s all. Personally, you might get uncomfortable in public or in front of the camera, but when it’s work, you’ve got to get it done.

My first works were quite a disaster. My spirits were low, especially during filming Jab Tai Wai Rai Sai Samorn. It was my third lakorn and there were lots of action scenes. I was scolded a lot because I couldn’t deliver what the director wanted. It was very difficult for me.

Acting helps me break out of my shell. I used to be a shy kid, who hardly made eye contact and easily got nervous. But now, I’ve learned to control my anxiety and to express myself better.

Showbiz has changed me in a good way. Before, whenever I felt annoyed, upset or distressed, you could see it on my face. Now I’ve learned to keep my emotions in check. Plus, I’ve learned to work as a team and to be more responsible.

Opapatika is my second movie. It’s an action fantasy, in which I got to work with seven other magnet stars and a young director. It’s a real challenge because my character, Pran, is somber and enigmatic, so you can’t really tell whether she is good or evil. Also the plot contains complicated dialogue as it’s inspired from Buddhist concepts. We filmed from dusk till dawn, so I rarely got to sleep.

I’m proud of everything I’ve done. I never thought I would or could be an actress. I have a drive to improve myself so that I won’t get chewed out by directors for acting like a dead fish anymore.

Cloud 9 was born out of my love for fashion. It’s my fashion brand that now has two outlets at Playground! and Gaysorn. I think it goes hand in hand with my acting career. I can stay current with styles and trends thanks to the stylists I work with on the set. And they help bring Cloud 9’s clothes for the cast and models to wear. That’s good advertisement.

I’m not a fashionista. I dress according to my mood, time and occasion.

I love acting. It may sound unbelievable coming from a once inarguably stiff actress like me. But I’ve grown to enjoy playing a range of characters in very different roles.

Appearance is essential to my career. My face and body are my assets, so I have to keep them healthy.

I want to have a life. That’s why I won’t take too many jobs—I want to have a balance between my family, friends and work. I also want to have time for myself, so that I can get enough sleep, exercise and enjoy a massage.

The future is unpredictable, so live the present moment to the fullest. I can’t tell how long I’ll be in the entertainment business. That’s not up to me; but it’s up to the producers and directors.
