-Arwat (Ton) has a mentally unstable father, Itsara. Itsara is a sadist that beats Arwat's mother constantly. She ends up dying after he accidentally pushes her off the stairs. Arwat has to go abroad and leaves Ruchanaree in the care of his aunt. His aunt is angry at Arwat for not persecuting his father over her sister's death so she plots to make Arwat hate his father. She tricks Ruchanaree into becoming Itsara's new target. Arwat had entrusted Ruchanaree to his aunt so she can find her a job but she ends up putting Ruchanaree in Itsara's path and he rapes her. She and Arwat never got along when he was dating her sister and she had always pranked him whenever he came over to their house. When Itsara is dying at the hospital, Itsara asks her to marry Arwat and she agrees for the sake of her nephew's inheritance.
