Songyos Sugmakanan (nickname; Yong) is director, screenwriter, and producer born in Bangkok, Thailand. He is graduated at Bachelor of Communication Arts specialed Film and Photography from Chulalongkorn University.
One of his works more know is "Fan Chan" (2003), film that was the most popular and the highest grossing movie of the year in Thailand. In fact, for that film he won The Best Director in "The Asian New Talent Award" (2004) and "The Thailand National Film Association Award" (2004) together with the others five directors.
He directed and wrote for the famous thai series "Hormones" (2013), and the same-titled 2008 film it was partly based on. Also co-produced "Project S: The Series" (2018).
