Synopsis/Review

A story of past loves reuniting in the present time. Tatape (Paul) is a cop investigating mysterious and unexplainable murders and disappearances happening to the men in his city...meanwhile, being strangely connected to Bua (Yardthip). Tatape and Bua have been sharing their opinions about books they've read in a forum online...until one day, Tatape wants to meet the woman behind the username Lotus. They arrange to meet, but to be careful, Bua asks her friend to take her place, while she sits at a distance to see Tat. He was disappointed that he didn't get to meet her, but leaves his card with her friend...later he follows Bua into a bookstore, to see what she looks like. She calls him that night and they begin to build a friendship. Bua works for Pentoowadee (Ploy), a Khmer princess that sought refuge in Thailand, and who is a lot older than she looks, is the reason why Bua's father was murdered and her separation from her older brother. Pentoowadee kidnaps Bua because she wants Bua to lead her to her lover from years ago. Tat is a cop, but he comes from a high class family, whose mother attends a lot of Hi-so events that he is forced to go to in his free time. He ends up going to a party at the same time Pentoowadee decides to let Bua get out and socialize, so she can run into her lover faster. When Tat and Bua officially meet, they see each other as the people in their past lives, and are drawn to each other...but it's when Tat meets Pentoowadee that makes things confusing...because as soon as he sees her, he is strangely drawn to her, even though he clearly likes Bua.

Throughout the lakorn, and investigations of some demonic creature taking hearts out of young men, and Tat's friends disappearing, he gets to build a relationship with Pentoowadee and Bua, but only Pentoowadee has no idea about Tat and Bua's relationship. There are flashes of Tatape as a Koopetra, a knight for (forgot the Kingdom's name), who is drawn to the Princess' beauty who happens to be Pentoowadee but back then known as Pentongtavy. It also reveals Koopetra's first meeting with Yosowtoria, which is Bua's past life, which he mistakes as a servant, but later learns she is a Princess. Due to Pentoowadee's witchcraft, both Tat and Bua dream about their past lives, how she remembers it. Tat dreams of being in love with Pentongtavy, but wakes up knowing that he's already fallen for Bua. He is confused by his dreams and his reality.

In order to find out about his past life, he lets a doctor hypnotize him, and he begins to learn more about who Pentoowadee really is. The king orders Pentongtavy to go to a distant land to create a new kingdom for him, which he names Amaraetalai, and lets Pentongtavy be the Queen of that land. During her time away, Koopetra spends time with Yosowtoria, and they both fall for each other without knowing it. A year later, Koopetra is excited to learn about Pentongtavy's return, but is torn between his feelings for her and Yosowtoria, especially since he noticed that power is more important to her than anything. So his mother gives him a family heirloom to test and see if he is meant to be with Pentongtavy or not. He takes this item, as well as other gold and jewelry to Pentongtavy, and says that they are gifts for all the princesses...Pentongtavy picks up the item and examines it, but puts it down and takes a big, gold necklace instead. All the other princesses take what they want, and the only thing left is the item. Koopetra disappointingly hold the item, but Yosowtoria sees it and snatches it from him because she likes it. She shows it off to her sister as something beautiful, but Pentongtavy sees it as something ordinary. Later, Pentongtavy becomes drunk with power, so much that she wants to take over her father's kingdom. Koopetra can't believe that the woman he loved had changed so drastically. The King gets angry, but is also aware of something else...so he orders Koopetra to marry Yosowtoria, and that angers Pentongtavy who thinks her sister has betrayed her. Yosowtoria is aware that Koopetra is in love with her sister, even after their marriage, but she is still happy to have part of his heart. Hearing this, Koopetra promises to spend the rest of his life taking care of and protecting her. The King then orders Koopetra to go to Amaraetalai to try to talk to Pentongtavy and reason with her to stop trying to take over his kingdom, and if she refuses, then he is to kill her, and Amaraetalai is to never exist. Yosowtoria goes along with Koopetra, hoping she could talk some sense into her sister...but no one can say anything to change her mind. She even finds a way to try to get Koopetra to kill his wife, but Yosowtoria finds out in her own way. She decides to kill herself, if Pentongtavy promises to not let any harm come to Koopetra, or else Amaraetalai will crumble...and Pentongtavy agrees. But right when Yosowtoria is poisoned, Koopetra comes in to see her before she dies. She tells her that half of his heart that belongs to her means the world to her, and Koopetra apologizes for not protecting her like he promised. After Yosowtoria dies, Koopetra tries to get Pentongtavy to kill him, but she refuses, because she wants to be with him. He tells her that during his life, his heart was torn in two, but now, his whole heart belonged only to Yosowtoria. He uses the same poison that killed Yosowtoria to poison himself...but before he dies, he makes a promise to Yosowtoria's body that no matter what world, or what life they live in, he wants to share it with her only...and that's the reason why Pentongtavy/Pentoowadee kidnapped Bua when she was a baby.

Everyone now finds out that Pentoowadee is not only a Princess, but a thousand year old witch, and they find stone tablets with a spell on how to defeat her, but get one of them stolen by the bad guys. They still use the remaining tablet to get rid of Pentoowadee, and they celebrate with Tat and Bua's engagement, until Bua passes out because of the poison Bua's mother unknowingly gave to her daughter. They find out Pentoowadee is alive, after she kidnaps Bua and some other women...so the men go to their rescue. Pentoowadee keeps using the fact that she saved Koopetra's life to hold over his head, except that it was never a fact...because Yosowtoria was the one that saved Koopetra's life, and it was a memory Bua had to get hypnotized to find out. They eventually kill the witch, but couldn't celebrate this time, because Bua was dying...Tat is holding her in his arms on her death bed, and she tells him she loves him, right before her last breath.
