Stephany Cattreeya Auernig was born in Pattaya, Thailand on January 15, 1994 to an Austrian father (Rupert Auernig) and Thai mother (Somrak Auernig). She attended The Regents School in Pattaya before going on to study Biomedical Sciences at Mahidol University.

Stephany first gained national attention after entering and winning the Miss Teen Thailand contest in 2009. After winning the pageant she worked as a model and was featured in the Japanese fashion magazine Vivi. Shortly after, Stephany started her career as an actress at CH7.

Aside from acting and modeling, Stephany also co-founded a smoothie bowl business called Soul Fresh and teaches cycling classes at Ryde.
