About Peung
Peung is the younger sister of model and actress, Ping Pimpaporn Leenutapong. Both are heiresses as well.
Peung first appeared in music videos by Bie Sukrit Wisedkaew, Da Endorphine, and Freeplay. She later landed her first role in the Thai series, Trab Sin Dind Fah (2008) as Sam Yuranant Pamommontri and Kathaleeya McIntosh (Mam)'s daughter. She then received her first lead role as Bpee in the top-rated remake, Ngao Asoke (2008) alongside actor, Pong Nawat Kulrattanarak. Peung also guest-starred with her Ngao Asoke co-star in the 2008 drama, Kwarm Lub Kaung Superstar (2008).
In late 2008, a teaser was released of Peung's drama, Bu-Ngah Nah Fon with fellow newcomer, Son Songpaisarn; however, due to unconfirmed reasons, the lakorn was cancelled and later remade in 2011 with a different cast.
Peung was also casted as nang'ek alongside Mos Patiparn Pataweekarn in the 2009 romantic drama, Sakul Ga, but was replaced by View Wannarot Sontichai for unknown reasons. She was also rumored to be casted alongside actor Chakrit Yamnarm (Krit) in the 2010 horror lakorn, Rong Raem Pee, as well as the romantic comedy, Dok Ruk Rim Tang with Bie Sukrit Wisedkaew of that same year.
Peung and Pong Nawat Kulrattanarak were an extremely popular pair while and after their drama was airing, along with onscreen couples, Ken and Anne and Aum and Aff, who all starred in three of the top and most successful Thai dramas of 2008--Ngao Asoke included. Pong and Peung are still a beloved onscreen pair today.
Fans also highly anticipated famous Thai singer and actor, Bie Sukrit Wisedkaew to collab with Peung in a lakorn after their appearance and undeniable chemistry in his music video, Toh Mah Wah Ruk. Many fans believe and agree that they could have been a very popular koo jin with their compatible looks, soft and similar features, and baby faces.
Despite her growing popularity, in mid 2009, Peung was involved in a minor scandal involving leaked pictures of her kissing her boyfriend on the cheek at his birthday party. Since then, she has disappeared from the Thai entertainment industry and has not been seen in lakorns. Though confused and angry, fans are still eagerly awaiting her return, and until this day, she continues to gain new fans from all over the world in spite of not having any new lakorns out.
